“The Polish Power Exchange educates the RES industry” was the title of a workshop that we – in cooperation with POLPX – conducted on December 16, 2024, and was attended by a large number of participants, representing companies that are members of the RE-Source Poland Hub, the Polish Wind Energy Association and the Wind Industry Hub.
The training was led by experts from POLPX and RE-Source Poland Hub, who focused on specific issues. Grzegorz Żarski spoke about the new energy mix and the structure of market participants. The specialist also introduced participants to the topics of energy market reform and price volatility in the markets run by POLPX. In turn, Joanna Michalik-Szczesiuk gave a dose of knowledge on the use of exchange data, and Sylwester Przybylak of INFOENGINE S.A. talked about new business models for the RES sector.
The webinar culminated with questions posed by the trainees and answered by experts. An important conclusion that has stayed with us is that “Energy transformation requires collaboration and education,” and this training was another step in building a more informed and sustainable energy market.
