Free online webinar titled: “The Energy Market in Poland & Guarantees of Origin – The Consumer Perspective”.
The event is organized by the RE-Source Poland Hub Foundation, will take place March 20 this year. (Friday) at 10:00 am on the Clickmeeting platform. During the meeting, we will look at the current situation in the energy market in Poland and the practical aspects of using the Guarantee of Origin from the point of view of energy consumers.
The project is part of the European Climate Initiative (EUKI). of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Climate Action, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMUKN).
What topics will we cover during the webinar?

The Polish electricity market: we will explain in an accessible way how the market is organized, who plays a key role, and what energy contracting and contracting looks like in practice.

How to obtain energy from RES in Poland: we will discuss the most important models for purchasing/obtaining green energy and show where Guarantees of Origin (GoO) “fit” in these solutions.

Guarantees of Origin (GoO) in Poland: we will present how the whole process works – from issuance, to transfer, to cancellation of the GoO, what this means for the ability to make declarations (claims) and for reporting.

AIB membership: we will explain what may change after joining AIB, including the impact on cross-border GoO use, data quality and comparability, and practical issues important to energy consumers.

Q&A: a time for questions and open conversation, we will answer the most common doubts of buyers and point out typical risk points to watch out for.
