On September 15–16, Warsaw will once again become a meeting place for key representatives of the green energy market, the business community, public administration, and local governments. The conference “Green Energy for Business—Practice Driving the Transition” is one of the most important events dedicated to the practical aspects of the energy transition in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe.

The event, organized by RE-Source Poland Hub, brings together green energy producers and consumers, renewable energy industry leaders, entrepreneurs, experts, and representatives of public administration and local government. It provides a space for exchanging knowledge, presenting specific solutions, and fostering cooperation among entities actively participating in the energy transition.

A New Format for the Event

This year’s conference will be a two-day event, designed to meet the needs of local governments, energy consumers, and industry professionals alike.

Day 1: Local Governments, Education, and the Energy Market

The first day of the conference will focus on cooperation with local governments and the challenges related to purchasing green energy, misinformation, support for municipalities, and preparing local communities for the energy transition.

The program will also include a hands-on expert session and a training session titled “The Balancing Services Market in Practice.”

An additional component of the event will be the Energy Consumer Academy, aimed at businesses and local government representatives interested in using renewable energy sources, cPPA contracts, and energy storage to optimize costs and enhance energy security.

Day 2: RE-Source Poland Hub Conference

The second day of the event will be entirely focused on the practical aspects of how the green energy market operates and on cooperation between energy producers and consumers.

The program will include:

  • expert presentations by partners,
  • substantive panel discussions,
  • hands-on workshops,
  • analyses of market trends and challenges,
  • case studies,
  • specific solutions for businesses.

Participants will discuss, among other topics, PPAs and cPPAs, procurement strategies, price risk management, energy storage, balancing services, financing for renewable energy projects, and the impact of regulations on market development.

Free participation for energy consumers and local governments

Attendance at the conference is free for representatives of companies that are end-users of energy and for representatives of local government entities.

This is a unique opportunity to gain practical knowledge, learn about available market solutions, and meet directly with experts, energy suppliers, renewable energy producers, and government officials.

Why should you participate?

During the conference, participants:

  • learn about the latest trends and forecasts regarding the development of the PPA market in Poland and the Central and Eastern European region,
  • they will learn how companies use PPAs to mitigate price risk, implement ESG strategies, and build a competitive advantage,
  • will gain insight into the impact of new European and national regulations on renewable energy investments and procurement strategies,
  • learn about financing models for renewable energy projects and energy storage systems,
  • will take part in discussions on new forms of cooperation between energy producers and consumers,
  • They will meet with market leaders, experts, and decision-makers who are shaping the future of the energy sector in Poland and the CEE region.
